Despre acest obiectiv
## A Symbol of Arad's Administration The Arad Administrative Palace stands proudly on Revoluției Boulevard, No. 75, representing one of the city's most important civic monuments. Built between 1872 and 1874, the edifice was designed to reflect the prestige and dynamism of Arad at the end of the 19th century, a period when the city experienced remarkable urban and economic development. The clock tower, added in 1878 and equipped with a mechanism brought from Switzerland, harmoniously completes the structure, becoming a visual landmark for both residents and visitors. ## Architecture Between Tradition and Modernity The palace's style elegantly blends Flemish Neo-Renaissance with elements specific to late medieval town halls, giving it a distinct architectural identity. The imposing façade, decorated with fine ornamental motifs, is complemented by remarkable interior details. The monumental staircase, covered in red marble, impresses with its refinement, while the stained-glass windows created in 1960 by artist Sever Frentiu add a unique artistic touch. These symbolize the seasons, integrating the chromatics and dynamism of nature into the administrative space. ## A Center of Public Life Today, the Arad Administrative Palace houses essential institutions of Arad County: the City Hall, the Prefecture, and the County Council. Although access to the interior is restricted for the general public, the building can be admired from the outside, serving as an attraction for those interested in the city's history and architecture. Visitors can explore Arad's central area, where the palace integrates perfectly into the urban landscape, alongside other historic monuments and representative buildings.
