## History and Documentary Attestation Voineasa Resort is situated at the foot of the Lotru Mountains, along the valley of the river of the same name, at an altitude ranging between 600 and 800 meters. First mentioned in documents in 1496, it is the oldest settlement in the Lotru Valley, bearing the imprint of a rich history and a strategic role in the region. Although no significant medieval architectural vestiges remain, its continuous presence in written sources underscores the importance of the location as a resting place and a center for the exploitation of natural resources. ## Ozonated Air and Therapeutic Benefits The resort's main asset is its extremely clean air, with zero pollution levels, rich in negative ions and resins emitted by the surrounding coniferous forests.
